About Us

Orenco Controls is a division of Orenco Systems^®, Inc., a company founded in 1981 that has become a leader in the decentralized wastewater industry.

From its beginnings as a producer of simple electromechanical alarm and pump panels, Orenco Controls has evolved into a designer and manufacturer of sophisticated controls for multiple applications and multiple markets. Controls with programmable timers, PLCs, telemetry, and VFDs are a specialty, along with privately labeled products for other companies (Original Equipment Manufacturers). We exceed customer expectations by building electrical panels made with high quality components using cost-saving production methods.

Orenco Controls employs more than 50 people. Our facility includes two production lines: one optimized for high-volume production of our standard panels, and one optimized for custom panel production. Our high-volume production gives us excellent relations with component suppliers and allows us to obtain components tailored to our specifications at the lowest cost. And because we can allocate our high-volume capacity to orders for custom panels when necessary, we often deliver custom orders in half the time typical of smaller shops.

Orenco Controls and Orenco Systems, Inc., are headquartered in Sutherlin, Oregon, on the I-5 transportation corridor. The 23-acre (9-ha) site has 150,000 ft² (14,000 m²) of facilities under cover, including research and development, engineering, manufacturing, sales, system operation, and administration. Orenco Systems employs nearly 300 people and is represented by more than 100 distributors throughout the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and parts of Europe. Our control panels have been installed in more than 20 countries around the world.
